About Us
Just For Pets Animal Hospital opened in February 2025 under the ownership of veterinarian Dr. Rennia Wint. Our veterinary hospital is built on a foundation of professionalism, kindness, and client education. Our veterinary team provides service with a smile, doing our best to make every visit a positive experience for pets and their owners. We understand that veterinary care is more than just treating illnesses—it’s about partnering with pet parents to support their fur kid’s long-term health with routine wellness check-ups, dental care, and advanced surgical procedures. When you come to us as your companion’s veterinarian, you will find a warm, friendly, and caring environment where pets are treated as if they were our own.
Besides being a veterinary hospital, Just For Pets Animal Hospital is also a family. Our team is built on mutual respect and support, and we are deeply invested in personal and professional growth. Meet Our Veterinary Team
Dr. Rennia Wint
Owner and Veterinarian
Dr. Wint is a graduate of Tuskegee University College of Nursing Veterinary Medicine & Allied Health. She has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 20 years. She has always known she wanted to be a veterinarian, even though it felt out of place growing up in a business-oriented family. Her passion for veterinary medicine was kindled as a child while growing up in Jamaica, helping out on a family friend’s farm after school and as she grew up working with veterinarians. Attending the then-named College of Agriculture (now CASE) sealed it for Dr. Wint as she pursued her Associate’s degree.
Throughout her career, Dr. Wint has thoroughly enjoyed and still does enjoy general practice. She began her career as a Lead Doctor and went on to serve as Chief of Staff, Partner DVM, Medical Director, and eventually Area Chief of Staff. In her role as Medical Director for the state of Georgia, she had the opportunity to oversee and support numerous veterinary practices across the state. During these career transitions, Dr. Wint was able to use skills learned while completing double major Bachelor’s degrees in Business and Animal Science. She was also able to pursue one of her passions: developing the skills of both doctors and support staff.
Growing up, Dr. Wint knew that she wanted to own her own veterinary practice. Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of building practices from the ground up as well as jump-starting failing practices. Dr. Wint has also been a partner in developing different practice models for veterinary practices. Practice ownership was a natural path for her as she was able to embrace both her passion for veterinary medicine and business.
Dr. Wint remembers being told that when choosing a job that makes you happy, you will never work a day in your life. She has found this to be true because of the passion and joy she feels going to work every single day, knowing that she can make a difference in a pet’s life. The comfort and peace of mind that her clients get knowing their furry kid is getting the care they need is priceless.
Outside of work, Dr. Wint finds that family is very important to her. She enjoys cooking, listening to music, watching a good movie, and the company of friends. She tries to always maintain a positive attitude. “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade, so to speak, and keep smiling always.”
